Mount Sinai Mountain, Egypt - Africa |

Mount Sinai is one of the four primary sacred mountains. It is where Moses got the Ten Commandments. Moses was the founder of Judaism, who was born in Egypt and was a son of a Hebrew slave. The Hebrew was in repression in Egypt, subsequent to which an Egyptian priest declared a prophecy that a son of the Hebrews would set them free from their slavery. The Pharoah ordered to kill every Hebrew child by drowning. To save the life of their child, Moses’ parents put him in a small basket and set adrift in the Nile, who was found by the daughter of the Pharoah and adopted as her son. It was he who later on understood his motive and thus led to freedom of Hebrews. Till date it is the most visited pilgrimage for those having faiths. |
