Madidi National Park, Bolivia - South America

Madidi National Park is situated in the upper Amazon River basin in Bolivia in an area of 18,958 km. With glacier covered crests of the high Andes Mountains to the stifling rainforests of the Tuichi River, Madidi National Park is one of the most biologically diverse regions. A few eco-lodges are there in and around Madidi National Park. It has an unidentified titi monkey, which being a new species is found only in Madidi. This national park is well known for more than thousand bird species, standing 11% of the 9,000 bird species of the whole world.
