Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon offers an awe inspiring view and is surely more than a chasm carved through rocks of the Colorado River. For this mind boggling river, Grand would be an underestimation. It is 446 km long, 29 km wide and 1600 m deep. The desolate settings, rugged contours and the striated hues of the pinnacles and gorges will leave you speechless with its vibrancy. Some of the best views can be captured from the south rim from the vantage points. The sun will be on your shoulder; therefore you can click images or indulge in sightseeing.

If you are looking for an exciting trip, you can take the mule ride to the Grand Canyon floor. It is not recommended in case, you have fear of heights. While hiking to the bottom means a lot of physical exertion, which will be suitable only for a highly fit trekker. You can travel down the Grand Canyon with an inflatable boat.
