Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, Singapore - Asia

The Bukit Timah Nature Reserve features the highest hill of Singapore. This rainforest is just 12 km from the city centre. The forest was never cleaned for cultivation and refuges a diverse range of plants. It shelters more than 500 species of animals and above 840 flowering plants. A nature lover will find a lot here including climbing palms, towering trees, orchids, ferns, strange blooms and gingers.

Some of the special treats here are the flying lemur, squirrels and long tailed macaques. The fairy bluebird, the striped tit babbler, drongos and bulbuls are some of the birds that you will find in the forest. .
